Vivian ~ My Antioch College major of 'Social Ecology' brought me to the beautiful Catskill Mountains to 'live the good life' farming and raising two amazing kids with my partner. I have been working with Susun and Justine since 2003. I am self taught in web design/graphics and have always loved playing with color. I've been having fun creating banners, making the herbal ezine and helping make the Wise Woman Web an enjoyable and colorful experience.

Vicki ~
gave up her corporate career in the big city for a greener life living on their farm in Upstate NY. Vicki homeschools their seven year old and takes care of their
various rescued animals. In addition to enjoying her time with the Wise Woman Team, she also stays busy working on their sustainable farm and for their renewable
energy business. If you don't find her harvesting medicinal plants, drying or creating her Sun Powered Herbal products, you will find her sitting quietly with a
little earth between her toes in her garden.

Melissa ~
I am an apprentice midwife, mother to two and partner to one. I am passionate about home birth and natural pregnancy, breastfeeding, and attachment parenting. I
believe that the ability to birth is inherent in all women and I am fortunate to be invited into the homes of so many women who harness that ability and prove to me
again and again how meant for the process of childbearing our bodies are. I am a lover of alternative medicine and the Wise Woman Way, and have implemented many of
Susun's teachings when counseling clients in the practice I apprentice for. When not helping mothers birth babies and not at my own children's beck and call, I
enjoy sewing, knitting and spinning. |

Lyn ~ Has been part of the Wise Woman team since September 2002. In 1985, after graduating DUX from the Metropolitan Business College, Sydney with a shorthand speed of
120 words per minute, Lyn Prowse-Bishop was being encouraged into a life as a Court Reporter, but opted for 7½ years as, first, a Legal Secretary, and later as PA
to a criminal lawyer in East Sydney. In 1993 she moved to Brisbane where she secured a job as Executive Assistant to the GM of the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition
Centre. 6½ years later her entrepreneurial spirit took over and, motivated by the birth of her daughter, started a Virtual Assistant practice in February 2000 to utilise her skills in a home-based environment so that she could meet the dual needs of her growing
family and those of a niche market of entrepreneurs requiring support services. |

YarrowCrow is a work-at-home mama to four great kiddos, one great husband, and several wild things on a plot o' land in Kentucky. Her interests are varied, and at 36 found that Life Herself has become her greatest teacher. She feels that all paths in her life have brought her to one place--working in Love and Beauty. Her dear husband jokes that the "place" is being the Weird Lady Down the Street. Kim is pretty sure that role is secure as the neighbors often see her feeding "the lawn" (chickweed, violets, dandelions, etc.) to her children. In her professional, non-mama, world, Kim is a tool of the Divine Creatrix, allowing the muses to waft her as they may. Or, better stated, she is a writer/artist, intuitive and healer. In her free time, you can find her walking the spiral labyrinth her husband made, talking to the plants, or having tea with friends on her back porch. She welcomes each of you to join her in these activities at any time. |

coyotemist - I am a mom of 2, and a wife of 10 years. In the past few years I have been a student of both the Wise Woman Tradition and of modern medicine, and am constantly looking for ways to enhance the wellbeing of my family and friends. In 2009 I will graduate as a Respiratory Therapist, and yet, the scientific knowledge that I am gaining brings me closer and closer to the world around me. In this whole process, the green world is sharing more and more of their gifts, and I'm grateful for it. Beyond that, I love horses, and reading! |

AmyD
- I moderate the Wise Woman Birth Control topic of the forum. It
is vital for us to understand our reproductive selves and stay free
from pregnancy if that's what we desire. Let's learn together the
Wise Woman Ways! My interest in self-care came from watching my
Grandmother stitch what was left of my cat's paw closed with a needle
and thread! She held the crying cat between her legs and sewed it
shut. That made quite an impression. I am raising my 2 great kids
in central Ohio with my supportive husband. Thanks for this opportunity. |

desertmedicinewoman is a life-long
lover and student of the plant world, having studied the healing
powers of the plants since girlhood. After graduating from Smith
College, moving to the Sonoran Desert, and struggling with the 9-5
work world, she decided to follow a path closer to her heart, healing
and helping and working closely with the plants around her. She
has studied with the Tucson Clinic of Botanical Medicine, and is
currently a student of Rosemary Gladstar. She believes plants can
offer us a heartful path to helping ourselves, and our relationship
with our Mother Earth. But healing is more than just drinking tea;
it starts with heartful intentions, and changes within and without.
