Hello to all,
My sister gave me your book "Menopausal Years" years ago, now I am 53 and the book became a "bilble" to me. I am raised with some knowledge of herbs. There are not many books about menopause on the market like yours which cover all aspects, the body as well as soul and heart. The forewords of all chapters spoken by "Grandmother Growth" touch me whenever I read them, giving me the feeling that there is someone (inside myself-) who understands me deeply. It makes me cry in relief of whatever. This is something I miss in all other books I read about menopause. …
yours sincerely
Eva

hi Susun,
I recently came across your website and tried red clover tea for fertility
and am happy to report that after only a few weeks of using this infusion, I
had an increase in my menstrual flow, which was previously very scanty.
I'm very excited …
thank-you for providing such a wonderful resource for women,

… I'm convinced that our well-being is in our own hands (and it's never been in someone else's hands, not really). Thanks for infusions! And, for showing older women how beautiful and valuable we are! And, for teaching us "wise ways" to care for ourselves! You are such a "gift";
Sincerely, Charlotte

…I am loving the Healing Wise book and can't wait to get more books and videos.
I badly want the Juliette de Baraclai Levi book. I used her book for children when my kids were young. They are now 23 1/2, 27 and 30! I really want to become a Wise Woman and Herbal Healer in my crone years and beyond (I will be 53 in April) and plan to take all of Susun's courses, one by one, if it takes me a decade to do it. I really appreciate the payment plan because I am disabled and money is terribly tight.
…Hugs, Maitri

Your information is fabulous, and I've only scratched the surface of your work. As a woman who has been plagued with high estrogen my entire life, your common sense information about phytoestrogens is just what I needed to see. I'm always skeptical of "popular" remedies, even when they're alternative, so your advice that "Isolated phytoestrogens are not as safe as those 'in matrix'" was just what I had suspected. And I was very confused about the estrogenic effects of soy, being told alternately that it was the best thing for me and the worst thing.
Even more exciting for me is that I'm an organic baker about to open a bakery here in my hometown. My best-selling bread is a multi-grain/multi-seed loaf with lots of sesame and flax seed. I didn't see how I was going to avoid getting fat as a baker, but I now see that I'm definitely on the right road, using many phytoestrogen foods and using low-glycemic agave nectar instead of sugar in my cakes & pastries.
I would like to put together a pamphlet on phytoestrogens from natural food sources rather than from supplementation; about the importance of estrogen reduction for both men and women, and the role of phytoestrogens in that approach. Hopefully I will find not only useful info on your website, but perhaps publications that I can purchase for distribution in my store.
Also, as a pagan, I'm very excited about your "Green Witch" series. I've barely made a foray into your website, but I'm looking forward to seeing it all!
Thank you for your work and dedication,
Rev. Julian

Hello,
Just found your web site. …. I am now
waiting for spring & dandelion to grow. I no longer want to have my yard
look green like the fancy neighbors who spray constantly chemicals all over
to pollute the air. I just wished we had 5-10 acres away from every one. I
hope to learn more from the news letters. About eating the good weeds, that
I have growing but don't know them yet .Thank You.
Sincerely,
Rhonda

Dear Susun,
Your menopause book is just excellent - common sense, at last!! I'm 54,
last period over 2 years ago, and have been on the roller coaster of
emotional, spiritual and physical transformation for the past seven years.
Major things in my life tend to go in seven year chunks, so I wasn't
particularly surprised to find lately that it feels as though I've reached
another level.
I tried progesterone cream for a few months but the only
thing it seemed to do for me was to eradicate ongoing and long-standing
urinary tract infections, they stopped completely within days of using the
cream. … and I stopped using the cream a couple of months back.
And guess what - I have fewer hot flashes, sleep better, my weight has
stabilized (at about 7 kg more than it was, but it's stable now) and all
together I feel a whole lot better! I'll be using your gentle and practical
approach as the basis for looking after myself from now on in, and am taking
my first tentative steps as a Crone, albeit a baby one!
xx
