Dear Susun,

First of all, I am soooo thankful for you. As Olympia Dukakis said on the back cover of your New Menopausal Years, "I'm so glad Susun Weed exists - her work is vitally important." How very much I agree having just started reading this book of yours.

Most sincerely,
Marilyn

Dear Wise Woman Web Team,

I noticed the Wise Woman Herbal Ezine for January in my new mail folder just before leaving for the holidays. I discovered the power of the right moment when all my wishes went directly to my heart.

So I am returning to you all my very best wishes for the new year. May it give you all the joy and power you need for your life and loves and work.
And please give my special thanks and good wishes to Susun who is the "center" of all.
I felt so relieved when I found the Susunweed.com and discovered that there was a whole community of women loving the goddess and the green earth in a way similar to my own. Since then I learned so much and found so much confirmation in your pages!
Susun and you keep "digging" up and sharing so much women treasures lost and hid and destroyed for such a long time.

I always supposed that she was around my own age (born 1949) and am happy to read that she is a little ahead of me, because I hoped and longed (and still do) that she would share too, what she will discover about growing and being old and living with death approaching.

Blessings and love to you and Susun finishing a decade and entering a new one.
Maja,
Germany

Hi Susun,

I have been reading your articles since I was 51 and started the dreaded stage called Menopause, since then I have used the tinctures, and even started making my own. Qualified as a holistic therapist and reiki master. And now teach Belly dance at my local college 4 hours per week.

I have never felt better or more powerful in my life.

I am now 57 and going from strength to strength. Each time I have had a hiccup i.e. having to have a camera for my scrape test Yuk! And being told I have Fibro neuralgia I turn to your site for information on remedies. My kitchen cupboard now has tinctures and herbal teas filling it. I swear by them now. I also use herbal infusions for my hair, which is as thick as ever and although white I keep it tinted with Rosemary and Sage.

I love the site and have told all my friends about it. Ladies at the dance classes ask me so much. I point them in your direction, and have written your site address on my dance cards now. So they have no excuses to suffer in silence as many do.

Many thanks for enlightening me and my life. Now growing older means growing wiser and happier.

Sue
I have never danced laughed or loved life so much.

Dear Susun:

A very happy February 8th birthday to you. Mine is the 9th - and we're one year apart! Enjoy the closure of 60 years of learning and love on this earth, and thank you for all the contributions you have made to wellness.

And, you have been steadfast in your vision to bring holistic healthcare to consciousness, always learning and teaching and giving of yourself. Again thank you, and enjoy your birthday celebration - with the stars, the full Snow Moon - and the quiet of winter magic.

Best wishes,
Ellen

Hi!

Last year around this time I was fortunate enough to take my daughter to St. Augustine, FL for her 21st birthday to see Susun Lecture and we really enjoyed that together! I wondered when Susun may be coming this way again?

Also, I have many solitary green witch friends who would love to see Susun lecture in Savannah, GA. -Will she be anywhere near there this year? Thank you for any info.!
As I reflect on the fun I had at Susun's lecture last year..

I am smiling and wanted to pass along an offering to her that might also leave her with a smile.-Please pass it along to her.
Thanks!-Lynn

World's shortest fairy tale

Once upon a time, a girl asked a guy "Will you marry me?"

The guy said, "No."

And the girl lived happily ever after and went shopping, dancing,
camping, drank martinis, always had a clean house, never had to
cook and did whatever she wanted whenever she wanted.

The end.

Hi,

I live on the Sunshine Coast in BC, Canada and I enjoyed your book "The Menopausal Years" very much. I have had this book for a few years now tho I am just beginning to go into menopause. I found your site while researching Restless Leg Syndrome which I have had in varying degrees since childhood. It has been worse in the last few months and I am now brewing some nettle and oatstraw tea. I very much appreciate your natural remedies.

Thank you
Pat

Susun-

I linked into your website this morning. What a great community you have formed! I had to forward the link to my wife.

I love the feel of the site and the forum. I was a lurking male for awhile on the forum, as I have always found it is educational to hear what women are discussing so I can better understand my wife. It works.

Many blessings to you!
Brad

I am being treated for breast cancer at the moment and I would like to say thank you for all the support I've had from Susun's books. I have them all and have had great pleasure and support from them in the past for myself, family and friends. But with the cancer it was a special place for me to go to where my mindset and sensibilities were completely welcomed. Breast Cancer? Breast Health! has helped me enormously.

Please thank Susun and give her a big hug from this proud Amazon!
with love to you all, you're doing great things for women's health and well-being,
Jo

Hi Susun!

First of all I want to wish you the happiest birthday ever!! I know that this is a little early, but as a fellow Aquarian it is our right and responsibility to celebrate our wild and eccentric selves the entire month of February, right? Mine isn't until the 16th, but today is the 1st, I'm on a roll. . I hope that all of your birthday wishes and dreams come true. .

…. . knowing what I now know from your presentation about naughty Du Pont! (thanks to you I trashed my supplements and am doing fabulously with herbs and nourishing foods. . thanks Susun. . keep on celebrating!

xoxo

Hello Susun

Thanks for your greetings and good wishes. I love your description of the sounds and silence of winter, which I've never experience here. It's incredibly hot and humid at the moment, but I have the bush on my doorstep and love the sounds and silences of the bush. Every morning and evening native birds of all kinds come into yard to feast on seeds and bread. It's a delight to watch them and gradually gain their trust. They remind me of tiny children, trusting and gentle.

I thoroughly enjoyed "Juliette of The Herbs" on ABC yesterday. What a truly great soul! I was astounded that I had never heard of her before and after the show, immediately got onto the internet to find out more, and where I could get hold of some of her books (and this is how you have found me).

I've always been interested in herbal and Gypsy remedies and over the past 12 months, have been exploring my cultural heritage through "bush medicine" - knowledge gained through trial and error over 40,000 years and passed down from generation to generation in our ancient land.

Have a great birthday
Warm regards and best wishes
Sally

Hi Susun,

I have been reading your book, Healing Wise and also own The Wise Woman's Herbal for the Childbearing Year…. I've just discovered red raspberry leaf tea & feel so much better after drinking 20 oz of deep steeped tea a day for the last 2 months that I was compelled to delve into your book Healing Wise....and then to look you up on the web.

Robin

Dear Susun,

Thank you for your wonderful books.

. . . Blessings, Janet

Hi Susun

Just wanted to wish you a very happy birthday tomorrow! I'm not in the office so won't be online, hence the early greeting.
Have a wonderful day celebrating all you have achieved so far and how far-reaching it has been. And who knows what will happen next? Marvellous!
The brightest of blessings to you, Susun.

Kindest regards
Cherri

Hi Susun

Thanks for your prompt reply . Really loved your web site. The reason I have
ordered the books by Juilette Levy is because I had just watched a doco on
thr ABC in Brisbane and found her so inspirational. I love herbal
medicine!!!!

Hi Susun,

I just finished readying your book, Healing Wise and I’m very excited and inspired by it. I’m a massage therapist and want to expand my understanding of holistic health in the Wise Woman way. Thank you for your wonderful book, which is opening a whole new door for me.

Blessings,

Hi there,

I currently live and work in Brisbane Australia. This morning I watched an amazing program ‘Juliette of the herbs”.Having looked on the web for more info. on Juliette, I came across another amazing woman,Susun Weed.

I work as a nurse in an oncology and palliative care ward and am always searching for information to educate my patients. Too many people leave their health and wellbeing in the hands of their doctors. I tell them to take back that God given right and explore all possibilities. It is sites such as these that I direct them to and hopefully many of them wake up to the fact that there are many alternatives ---not just what Big Pharma has us believe!

Please sign me up for your free newsletter.I will attempt to purchase some of your recommended books to add to my ‘alternate’ collection.
Regards,
Evelyn
