Hi Susun!
You are awesome. . thanks so much for coming to SB and imparting us with your wisdom, grace, joi de vive and especially your wild spirit :) I have been a fan of yours.

Thanks to your wise woman wisdom and herbs, I am sailing through perimenopause while women around me are determined to tread the slippery slope of mid-life clutching their addictions with their well manicured hands.. .gotta have those Du Pont hormones, martinis, starbucks, bad drama and plastic fantastic surgery. blah, blah, blah. What can you say, this is Hollywood land.

I learned so much from you, particularly about supplements. . yikes! I look forward to participating in one of your events when you are back in this neck of the woods, or maybe I might get to Woodstock some day.

Sunday night I found a lump in my left breast. I had your breast book ever since it hit book stores. I read the chapter "There's a lump in my breast" It made me feel good. I followed the recipes and the lump is getting smaller. ….

Greetings and joy from Philo, CA…
What a lovely visit we had with you, swimming with family and friends. I see on your web page you are still touring and teaching in CA. When you return to NY I would like to send along a few experiments from ‘babs lab’ for you to play with. One being a face, neck and breast seaweed/clay mask and a beautiful seaweed healing balm…..
We look forward to hear from you. Happy traveling.

Dear Wise Women,
I once read an article by Susun Weed in a magazine about alternatives. The article was about weeds growing in busy urban polluted areas. Susun's very heretical view (I mean that as a complement!) was that these weeds because they processed the pollution made good medicine. I have a student that shares this view who is writing a paper about the benefits of weeds growing in the city cracks and how they are most appropriate for city dweller health issues. I read Susun's article about 5 years ago, I can't recall the name of the magazine but that article has always made me think. Can you remember where this article was published or how I can obtain it.
I would love to get a copy!
Sincere Love,
Mimi

Hello Susun,

I was treated last year for breast cancer. I had no chemo but radiology. Am
not taking tamoxifen but am wondering about the herbs to take for
prevention. I am 68 yrs old and your book about breast health has been my
bible for many years. ….
Love, Jacky

I found you amidst all the MD information when I Googled menopause. An
unmistakable touch of grace.

I am a 49 year old woman. I felt my first clear hormonal drop at 35. It was
not a pleasant experience. The next one, I missed and conceived my third
angel/child at 43. Within the past 6 months I have felt a lot of the typical
"perimenopausal" symptoms again.

My experience is that many women fear this time of life, and I just bought into this idea.
I felt real joy when I found your website: an alternative to what I see so readily available around
me, to help with the "Change".

I immediately ordered a copy of your book...The Wise Woman Way, one for myself and one for my sister-in-law. It arrived today and I've begun reading it with a much greater sense of power. I feel able to cope and even welcome the inevitable changes that I have begun – and have not been dealing with very well. I love the image of riding the heat as I rode my contractions. I loved birthing my babies, and see how I can come to
love this process as well. I look forward to being an older woman with wise
blood.

Thanks again for being there for all women.
Love.
Vicki

Dear Susun.

I wanted to thank you for sending my books I ordered and adding your own personal touch. It was great to have you lecture in Casper. Thank you SO much. I would like to be added to your mailing list.

Your are a true inspiration, and I hope our paths with cross again some day.
Green Blessings

Thanks!
Hope life's great with you.

I really am enjoying all this information about herbs. I have been wanting to study herbs for a long time, but never found the right format or the time or money.

…..Thanks again for writing those great books and for publishing the also great books and DVD of Juliette de Bairacli Levy. I'm now reading Traveler's Joy, and it's all I can do to keep from hitting the road.
Valerie

I love the Wise Woman Herbal Childbearing Year book and am starting to brew my own Red Clover Tea for fertility.
Thanks
Christine

Dear Susun
I have been reading your site with interest. I am a woman in her forties currently trying for a baby. I was delighted to read on your site that being this age shouldn't stop me from trying to conceive - and feel very positive about it.
…..
Best wishes
Sharon

Dear Susun

I recently finished reading Healing Magic: A Green Witch Guidebook, of which you did the Forward. I have arrived at 50 (nearly 51) and want the next part of my life to have meaning - if that doesn't sound too weird. I have always been interested in herbs and would like to undertake one of your correspondence courses.

I have been reading your newsletter for the last few months and it is comforting to think that there are women who have banded together to discover the true meaning of life.
Regards
Barb

Susun,

Thank you for sharing your story -- you open yourself up and expose your vulnerability which shows that your are, what?, "human." And, thank you too for sharing your wisdom which, as a fellow herbalist, I so appreciate. Thank you for your devotion to this healing art and thank you for being in the world and loving nature the way you do.
So, there you are, many "thank yous."
Shelly

Hello!
My name is Jean and I would like to get your free newsletter.

I am experiencing a recurrence of breast cancer and am responding the natural way. I have been intuiting many things about the earth's wisdom, how we nourish ourselves, and what cancer really "is" and have been honoring this experience completely. My spirit guides first took me to a near by wood, almost daily, where I emptied much of the "knowledge" and beliefs and reactions of the past; then through an unfolding intuitive process,

I have recently discovered Healing Wise and Susun, so I am thrilled absolutely and very much want to get up to Woodstock for a weekend (of physical work) and herbal learning! I am so grateful for this website, Susun, and the Wise Woman healing way, which I am eagerly reading up on!! It really speaks sweetly and clearly to ME!
Thank you thank you!

Let me know when I can come up to experience some real work (for my bones and my soul) and begin to learn the treasures of the Great Wise Mother Earth!!
love, peace, and gratitude,
jean

I have read many good things about you and your practice in herbal medicines and natural healing….. Sk
